After the tremendous success of Final Fantasy VII Remake on the Switch 2, which launched just two weeks ago, I didn’t think we would have to wait very long for its sequel to arrive on the console. Still, I can tell you this much, I wasn’t expecting it quite this soon. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will officially launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 3rd, complete with a physical edition that includes a Zack Fair Magic: The Gathering card, a reversable cover, a Posh Chocobo Summoning Materia, and a pair of accessories. The physical release will retail for $49.99.

Nintendo also just dropped the first Switch 2 trailer for the game, and boy oh boy, does it look pretty. That should come as no surprise, given just how gorgeous the original release looked.

Pre-orders are set to go live at some point today, so stay tuned!
