Rumored over the weekend, it seems that GameStop is ready to confirm that Nintendo has pulled the plug on its Mario Kart World Switch 2 bundle SKU. Announced as a limited time offer before the console’s launch, the bundle was sticking around a lot longer than most people anticipated. If that’s what you were hoping to get, however, you’ll need to do it sooner rather than later.

On Twitter, GameStop simply wrote, “The Mario Kart World Switch 2 Bundle will no longer be produced.” Obviously, stores will have some stock left, so you aren’t completely out of luck. The thing is, with Christmas mere days away, those bundles aren’t going to last for long. If you really want this, you’ll need to grab it ASAP.

It’s not hard to understand why Nintendo would want to end production of this SKU. As a standalone purchase, Mario Kart World goes for $80 with the Switch 2 running $450. Packaged with the Switch 2, you’re saving roughly $30 versus getting both items separately. Nintendo clearly wants people going with the hefter price tag.

Good news for anyone who waited to grab the bundle: Amazon is currently selling the Mario Kart World bundle for $50 off.
