It should come as no shock to longtime Nintendo Wire readers that we love ourselves some accessories. Historically, Nintendo has released surprisingly few limited edition controllers and cases based on their own IPs, but companies like HORI have always been there to pick up the ball and run with it. Today, we’re taking a look at Hori’s latest collection of Switch 2 accessories, starring two of the most beloved Pokémon of all-time: Gengar and Eevee.
First up is the Eevee Cottage Collection, which includes two cases, a game card holder, and a wired controller. The first case is a traditional hard shell design, which is my preferred way to transport a console. The second is a puffier, soft-sided pouch that offers far more storage than I expected. Hori also released a wired controller with turbo functionality, along with a matching game card case that holds up to 24 Switch and Switch 2 games.

And last but not least, we have the Gengar and Mimikyu Collection, featuring a similar lineup of accessories but with some of the best Gengar artwork I’ve ever seen on a gaming product.
