Capcom has announced via social media that the next Monster Hunter Showcase will take place on December 8th, 2025, at 2 p.m. PT | 4 p.m. CT | 5 p.m. ET. Focusing mostly on a new title update coming to Monster Hunter Wilds, the stream will also cover some new information regarding Monster Hunter Stories 3, likely for the game’s DLC plans post-launch. With Stories 3 primed for a March 2026 launch, there are still a lot of unknowns regarding the game.

The tweet specifically mentions that Wilds’ segment will focus on “Free Title Update 4,” but I half expect some kind of announcement of a Nintendo Switch 2 port for the game. I wouldn’t get your hopes up for such a thing, but with the recent sales of Wilds having tapered off and the game’s director even urging fans to “pick it up again,” I think Capcom will want to expand the possible audience with a port to Nintendo’s console. There is every chance that the game is too complex for the Switch 2, however.

Whatever the case, make sure to tune into the livestream next week if you’re a fan of Monster Hunter. We’re bound to get good information regardless.
