A new update for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment will be coming later this week, and it brings more than just bug fixes. Set to hit the eShop on November 27th, 2025, version 1.0.2 will include some extra missions and a couple of new weapons to the game. There will also be a hearty helping of bug fixes, because what is a patch without them?

Using Google translate from the Japanese website, we know that all of these extra missions will be unlocked once the main story is completed. A rather generic one is “Battles aiming for more than 2000 KOs,” but the update will also bring “A real battle with Rauru” and “Battle to win lots of poe,” which I believe refers to the poe souls you can collect. The website refers to something called “Battle Challenges” and “Hyrule Challenges,” which are possibly endless modes or remixes of previous levels. They seem to include new variants of foes, including amped up Bokoblins, Like Likes, and Block Golems.
New sync strikes will also be added, including a new dedicated one between Zelda and Calamo as well as a sync strike with the Block Golem. Two new weapons will be added, including the “Greatsword of Light” and the “Spear of the Upper Guard,” which can be equipped to different characters. Should be nice for when you’re maxing out characters and need some extra oomph.
The rest of the patch notes includes bug fixes, which have not been translated properly. We’ll update the article once Nintendo of America issues a blog post.
