Build-A-Bear and Pokémon have become a pretty iconic duo over the years, and both the Build-A-Bear Company and The Pokémon Company are keeping the good times rolling with the announcement of a new addition to its lineup: Litten.

The cute fire cat is set to release on September 18th, 2025, and interested customers can sign-up to be notified the exact second it goes on sale. While pricing and accessories haven’t been mentioned yet, we can probably deduce what comes in the bundle from past critters Build-A-Bear has offered. As Siliconera notes, Sprigatito released in July 2023 for around $55 and came with an extra outfit and sound chip. It seems Litten will probably get the same treatment, especially since the promo image features it wearing some pajamas. Even this past year, Build-A-Bear released a Wooloo bundle for $60 that included a lot of the same stuff.

All of this is to say that you shouldn’t expect Litten to be ludicrously overpriced. It will likely be pretty big, as is the case with most Build-A-Bear stuff. That’s all the better to hug it.
