With the Nintendo Switch 2 only being two months old at this point, it makes sense that there aren’t any color options available quite yet. Past Nintendo handhelds have had a myriad of special editions and colors to choose from, and while the Switch 2 will likely get some in the future, for now all we have is the basic model. That doesn’t mean you can’t make your own stand out though, and the best way to do so is with decorative cases. In fact, a new collection of Sanrio cases are coming out very soon!
These new clear cases come via the Japanese accessory manufacturer Allone and feature a total of six unique designs. Featured characters include Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin, and Pochacco, with a handful of other characters appearing alongside them. Each case will be available for ¥2,530, which equates to around $17 or so. As of now there is no word on these cases being available outside of Japan, though they could appear on other storefronts after release, so keep an eye out.
For those in Japan, the cases will be available for purchase starting on August 8th, 2025. That doesn’t leave much of a wait, though for those overseas they may take a bit longer to get.
