The Switch 2 era is now in full swing and with that means Nintendo Direct streams focused on specific games. As the next big title from the company, Donkey Kong Bananza is ripe for its own Direct and that’s exactly what Nintendo has announced. Surprising everyone online, DK Bananza will get a roughly 15 minute stream this Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, that goes over some information about the game ahead of its July 17th, 2025, release.

Being that this stream is only 15 minutes long, I’m not exactly sure what Nintendo could reveal about the game. We’ll likely get a final trailer, and there will obviously be more gameplay footage, but 15 minutes isn’t a super long time. Interestingly, this stream will be premiering one month before the game’s launch, so it’s almost a way to commemorate the game before it’s out in the wild.

Whatever the case, if you’re still on the fence about DK Bananza or want to see if it justifies its $70 price point, this Direct will be for you. The stream will premiere at 6 a.m. PT | 8 a.m. CT | 9 a.m. ET on June 18th, so mark your calendars.
