Live like an Alolan with this new collaboration between Pokémon and Grand Hyatt Tokyo! This new unique experience will bring a touch of the beach to downtown Tokyo, along with all of the charm of Pokémon.
Two options will be available in this collaboration.
Pokémon Beach Resort Suite Stay
Only ONE room of this type will be available per night, transformed into a beach getaway complete with giant Lapras and Snorlax plushies! You’ll be able to book this suite from April 15th to August 28th, 2025 for stays between June 20th and September 1st of 2025. This package is for two people and comes with the following:
- A stay in the Chairman Suite
- Collaboration amenities including a french bathroom, french beach towel, beach bag, hat, and an oversized shirt featuring Pikachu, Squirtle, and Rowlet
- A Pikachu and Piplup plushie
- Special dinner menu delivered to the room, including: Bulbasaur tropical gourmet burger, Squirtle ricotta cheese tart, Piplup blue soda, tropical garden salad, and tropical tea (Please note: this is available only once during your stay, regardless of how long you have booked.)
- Special breakfast menu delivered to the room, including: Pikachu fruit pancakes, American Breakfast (Please note: this is available only once during your stay, regardless of how long you have booked.)
- Grand Club lounge access
It’s highlighted many times that the room decorations are NOT to be taken, such as the giant plushies, the giant beach rug, or any of the wall decorations. As far as the amenities go, it does say that only one set is provided per stay.
Pokémon Beach Resort Stay
This type will have 5 rooms available per night. This room type will have two twin beds and will have beach themed decorations, albeit not as extravagant as the suite. Just like the suite stay, this room type will be available to book from April 15th to August 28th, 2025 for stays between June 20th and September 1st of 2025. This package is for two people and comes with the following:
- Mini Lapras plushie
- Amenities including a beach bag, hat and oversized shirt featuring Pikachu, Squirtle, and Rowlet
- Breakfast at The French Kitchen, including Pikachu fruit pancakes that are available for your entire stay
The Pokémon Beach Resort Suite Stay will cost ¥500,000 , or about $3,500 per night, excluding tax and service charges. The Pokémon Beach Resort Stay I’ve found to range from ¥62,800, or about $440 per night, up to ¥69,000, or $485 a night, excluding tax and service charges. They’re both available to book now through the Hyatt website!
If you recall, the Grand Hyatt Tokyo previously did a similar collab with Pokémon Sleep, transforming the suite into a camping getaway complete with sleeping Pokémon plushies and again, a giant Snorlax.
