Universal has been very vague with the opening date of Epic Universe, their brand-new theme park in Orlando, Florida, but our wait might be over sooner than we had thought.

Universal had previously given a timeframe of Summer 2025, before changing it to just 2025. However, according to a new report by the Wall Street Journal, we could expect to visit the new park by Memorial Day 2025! If this report is true, we have just about seven months to go to visit this immersive new park.

However, according to reports, getting into the park won’t be as easy as just buying a ticket. Universal is reportedly planning to have park goers purchase a multi-day ticket along with its existing parks, allowing you one day to explore Epic Universe. It is still unclear how ticketing will work, but with the demand for the park, it makes sense for Universal to limit capacity as to avoid overcrowding.

You’ll recall that Epic Universe will be home to Super Nintendo World, containing everything that currently exists at the land in Universal Hollywood, as well as introducing an all-new Donkey Kong themed area. I’ve seen videos of the Mine Cart coaster and it looks incredible, really capturing that feel of those iconic levels.

Are you planning on seeing the new park? More ticket info should be available soon, so keep an eye out!
