One of the most intriguing aspects of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet was the introduction of Paradox Pokémon, creatures from another age that resemble familiar faces but with a unique twist. Now it’s time for them to take to the Trading Card Game and it looks to be quite the debut.
In the trailer below we can see a bunch of the cards and the reveal that they’ll be labelled with Ancient or Future, depending on the Pokémon.
Another big reveal is the return of Ace Spec cards. These item cards were last seen during the Black and White era of the TCG and were powerful item cards though only one could be in a deck at a time.
The Paradox Pokémon will debut in the Trading Card Game this fall while Ace Spec cards will return in 2024.
