The stylishly red world of Persona 5 is showing no signs of slowing down, but this latest announcement might come as a bit of a surprise.

Chinese publisher Perfect World Games and developer Black Wings Game Studio have fully revealed their mobile game that shares the same setting as the critically acclaimed JRPG, but it appears to be a fairly ambitious project. Persona 5: The Phantom X sets out to maintain the core gameplay and style of the original while introducing a new story, characters, and more. The main hero and his Persona were even designed by long-time Atlus artist Shigenori Soejima.

A playtest will begin in China on March 29th for PC and Android. A final launch date and international release has yet to be confirmed. The game will be free-to-play with in-game transactions, however.
