Out of all the entries in the series, Final Fantasy X is perhaps the one with the most Japanese influence, directly inspiring outfits, theology, architecture, and more besides.

It’s no wonder, then, that a kabuki stage production is on its way to Tokyo this spring. If you’re interested to see what it’ll look like, a clip of the iconic “Sending” scene, featuring renowned kabuki actor Nakamura Yonekichi V as Yuna, has been shared.

The Final Fantasy X kabuki stage play will be run 35 times at IHI Stage Around Tokyo between March 4th to April 12th, 2023.
