Despite ending quite a while ago, The Pokémon Company has dropped a behind the scenes look of Pokémon Evolutions’ Sinnoh-focused entry “The Rival”.
As can be seen in the video above, The Pokémon Company’s behind the scenes look of “The Rival” highlights the episode’s scenes from the Lake Verity ambush, Staraptor versus Dragonite battle, Spear Pillar confrontation, and Barry’s final showdown. From rough sketches to early outlines, the video has a whole lot of early storyboards to appreciate!
The Pokémon Company generally does not release videos of their animations’ creation process, but this short glimpse will surely be a welcoming surprise to both animators and fans of the series.
