Trainers might be getting their remake fix with Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, but Pokémon Evolutions is taking us back to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Hoenn’s 3DS return went so far as to introduce new lore to the series via the Draconids and expanding on Mega Evolution, all of it tied to new character Zinnia.
The Lorekeeper is the star of Evolutions’ sixth episode, titled The Wish. She may be guiding May through the Sky Pillar and the history of Primal Groudon and Kyogre, but this is just as much her own adventure. Witness the sky-splitting arrival of Rayquaza and some finely staged Pokémon battles as Pokémon Evolutions heads to its final two episodes.
