Website maintenance can be tricky, and it’s always a possibility that things can go awry. Nintendo’s latest accident, however, is leading some unintentional hilarity, with the official Kirby website being updated with passages from Franz Kafka’s “The Metamorphosis“.
The Bohemian novelist’s work focuses on a man who has been transformed into a giant insect and has to adapt to his situation. Needless to say, reading “he found himself transformed in his bed into a horrible vermin” in a cute Kirby font is an experience.
Chances are the official website will be updated soon enough to remove this early 20th century literary masterpiece, but until then we’ll always have the visual of Kirby turning into a bug.
