This week, Funko’s social media channels have been revealing New York Comic-Con 2020 exclusive after exclusive. Since the convention is canceled, Funko will be holding a Virtual Con in its place instead. Similar to previous Virtual Cons, you can expect live streaming events and limited releases.
Joining the massive 2020 flocked and convention exclusive line that consists of Bulbasaur, Charmander, Eevee, Pichu, Mewtwo, and Vulpix are none other than Angry Pikachu and Growlithe. Yes, we’re getting another Pikachu Funko POP!, but angry and fuzzy. A good combo, no?

So far Funko has only shared the above image. No word on pricing, release date, which retailer(s) the figures will be available at, and more. Then again, New York Comic-Con isn’t kicking off until Thursday, October 8th, and ending on Sunday, October 11th. That means there’s plenty of time left for the details and Funko’s schedule for its “Virtual Con NYCC” edition.
