Nintendo is partnering with Tencent to release the Nintendo Switch in China, which means that in addition to the system, amiibo will soon be hitting the country’s shores very shortly. In fact, we have our first photos of Chinese amiibo boxes already, courtesy of Twitter user @chinesenintendo:
Pretty much what you’d expect: the shape and function is nigh-identical to Japanese and Western amiibo boxes. Still, nice to see the figures proliferate into new markets.
