Happy New Year, everyone! Today, the Nintendo Badge Arcade is ringing in 2016 with three new Japanese New Year games, Mario style! Adorning these three new games are traditional Japanese New Year symbols in classic, 8-bit styles, as well as Mario in fancy New Year’s wear!
Also still available today are the Splatoon badges, Wario Ware badges, and the 8-bit insext, food and bonsai badges.
Today is the final day to pick up the Wind Waker item badges, Mario Maker badges, Tri Force Heroes badges, and amiibo Festival badges. So get them while you can!
And if you’d like to try your hand at the practice catcher today, you’ll be greeted with a game featuring Mario as a daruma doll.
