Only 22 days remain until Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer releases in North America. Different regions from all over the world have received different pieces of news about products connected to the game. So far, Japan and Europe are receiving the beautiful limited edition New 3DS XL, a standard New 3DS that comes with two sets of cover plates, several bundle options and the first series of amiibo cards. Nintendo also recently announced that those two regions will see yet another Animal Crossing item hitting retailers alongside all the previously mentioned items: an Animal Crossing amiibo Collectors Album!

So far, this commercial has only been advertised in France, but it’s very possible the rest of Europe will also see the album available around the time of Happy Home Designer’s release.

As you can see, Nintendo has gone above and beyond with the design of the album. The cover is colorful, cute and chock full of personality with characters like Isabelle and Lottie sprinkled all over it. Personalized touches grace every page, as seen with the sweet silhouettes of characters in their designated card spots. So even if you haven’t yet found those somewhat more unattainable amiibo cards for your collection, you can still admire the pages with the very simplistic character designs. Nintendo has somehow taken pixelated animals that we’ve grown to love dearly over the last decade and transported them to a colorful card collecting experience. I, for one, am on the edge of my seat waiting for an announcement from Nintendo of America. We need this album!

This is yet another reason for North Americans to froth at the mouth right now. Just three days ago, we were given word that the highly anticipated standard New 3DS would finally make its way to U.S. retailers inside the New 3DS Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer Bundle. Not only were 3DS fans ecstatic to hear that the standard sized handheld would finally be available in the last remaining territory, but Animal Crossing enthusiasts (“addicts” might be more accurate) were excited to hear that they would have the opportunity to own an Animal Crossing themed system. The New 3DS may not be the XL, but it’s a step in a very positive direction!
