Nintendo characters are coming to Skylanders SuperChargers!
After we reported the possibility a couple of weeks ago, Nintendo officially confirmed the partnership this morning during its Nintendo E3 direct.
Bowser and Donkey Kong will be released in new ‘supercharged’ versions that will be available exclusively in the Skylanders Starter Packs on the Nintendo platforms.
The Wii U version will include Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and his Barrel Blaster, and the 3DS & Wii versions will have the Hammer Slam Bowser and his Clown Cruiser.
The figures include a special feature in the bases, where you can twist the bases depending on what game you want to use them in. If you want to use the figures as a Skylanders figures, twist the base in one direction; if you want to use it as an amiibo, twist it in the other direction!
All three editions are available for pre-order now.
