Ace Attorney fans can now say they have a system that reflects the entire breadth of the series (barring a certain puzzling crossover) thanks to today’s announcement of the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection. This two-game set brings both Miles Edgeworth-led Nintendo DS spinoffs back, marking the first time the second game in that pairing has been localized.

Unlike the main Ace Attorney series, these Ace Attorney Investigations titles put you in the shoes of a prosecutor, specifically Phoenix Wright’s first and most recurring courtroom rival Miles Edgeworth. This flips the perspective on your typical evidence gathering, and paves the way for a different flavor of the series’ trademark heart and humor.

Both games will take on an updated visual style, with characters in both games fully drawn compared to the originals’ sprite-based presentation. That said, purists can swap over to that style freely. As has been the case with other Ace Attorney collections, extensive gallery features will be included for both illustrations and music.

The Ace Attorney Investigations Collection will finally object to long-withheld localizations when it arrives on September 6th.
