Celebrate Donkey Kong Country 2 on Switch with new Dixie Kong art from her creator

Today one of the Super Nintendo’s finest platformers has made its way to Switch. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest improved on the original in practically every way and introduced a new member of the DK Crew – Dixie Kong!

To celebrate this DKC2 resurgence, Playtonic’s Steve Mayles shared new artwork of Dixie, a character he created.

She’s looking great in the new style and still twirlling that hair all these years later.

Ricky Berg

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
