Nintendo of America’s official Zelda website has a new section, allowing you to click through an online guide and learn about the games’ common elements. The main page gives a condensed rundown of the creation of Hyrule at the hands of the three goddesses, and how it and the Triforce came into the care of Hylia. Link, Zelda, and Ganon all get to shine as the wielders of this sacred power as well, though it’s the expanded sections that offer some interesting little facts and nods.

For example, Ganondorf’s section brings back a surname that first appeared in Link to the Past’s instruction manual: Dragmire. Kaepora Gaebora’s section might give Ocarina of Time fans a nice laugh over its ending, while the Rito section might confuse anyone who’s met them for the first time in Breath of the Wild. The item section goes over not only franchise staples like the hookshot and bombs, but even more specific ones like Majora’s Mask or the Sheikah Slate.

Regardless of if you know all of this already, it’s a fun, albeit lacking, guide to this massive, lore filled world of Hyrule. Definitely take a few grains of salt along as you click through, especially with an existing compendium like Hyrule Historia being much more detailed and involved with the core series staff’s input.
