Minecraft is coming out on the Switch next month, and for those who are interested in another iteration of the massively popular sandbox game, some interesting tidbits about the performance of the Switch version have been revealed.

The game will run at 60fps and have a “medium” world size of 3072 x 3072 blocks. For comparison, that’s significantly more than the Vita/Xbox 360/PS3/Wii U versions (864 x 864), but notably less than the PS4/Xbox One versions (5120 x 5120). At release the game will have all the content of the January update and quickly catch up to the most recent version shortly thereafter. Most interestingly, there are plans for you to transfer data from the Wii U version to the Switch version, though it won’t be available at launch. The devs have also said the Switch is very easy to work with, inspiring confidence in ease of development for other game creators.
