One of the finest DS games of all time, the masterful time-travelling RPG Radiant Historia, appears to be getting a sequel.

Going to the website radianthistoria.jp brings the following message: “In the near future, a history once told will unfold again. And an unknown path will come to be known.” At the bottom, it assures folks to check out Weekly Famitsu come March 23rd. No other details for the game are yet known, but given the original was on DS it seems a 3DS or Switch release is likely.

For those who never had the pleasure of playing it, Radiant Historia was a turn-based JRPG released in the twilight days of the DS, chronicling the work of the spy Stocke as he fought to change history and end a raging war. Whether this game is a remake or sequel, if it captures the same magic the original did it will be well worth picking it up.
