Fire Emblem Heroes has launched a brand new event and it’s unlike anything the game has seen before. Players can now enter the Prince versus Princess Voting Gauntlet to support one of eight royals to victory. The first step is to pick one of eight characters from among Alfonse, Sharena, Chrom, Lucina, Ephraim, Eirika, Leo, and Elise. You will then become a patron of that character and will battle in their honor. The brackets are set in such a way that the final confrontation will be the winning prince against the winning princess.

Players will command teams of three during this event, with their units composed of your own leader (the character that represents you in your barracks), the leader of a friend you’ve registered, and a hero from a stranger. You’ll then use these to support your chosen hero’s army and can use “Battle Flags” to give a multiplier to your final score. You’ll then have to wait a bit before you can support your Hero again, and all of this is limited by timed rounds.

To celebrate this event two new focuses have been added to the game: one for princes and one for princesses. On the prince side you have an increased chance at Chrom, Leo, and Ephraim while the princess Focus will get you just a little closer to having Lucina, Elise, or Eirika. There’s also a new Xenologue available to play and new quests to take on, giving players plenty of new things to check out and rewards to claim.

Good luck to everyone participating and summoning, let us know who you’re supporting!
