Goodbye! BoxBoy!, the third sequel in the BoxBoy franchise, looks like it may finally be getting localized for regions outside of Japan.

On Nintendo UK’s website, Goodbye! BoxBoy! is listed as an upcoming downloadable 3DS title, set to release this month on March 23rd, and it’s been retitled Bye-Bye BoxBoy! However, it seems the link doesn’t actually lead to anything — just a 404 error page — and the game hasn’t officially been announced for any regions outside of Japan, so this is likely just an unintentional leak from Nintendo UK.

Additionally, while there’s no word of it here in the US, it’s safe to assume that it’ll show up stateside if we see it in Europe.

Some might remember Goodbye! BoxBoy! as also having a Japan exclusive Qbby amiibo, and all I can say is that if the game really is being localized, there’s a good chance (we hope!) that we’ll see the amiibo make it’s way here as well.

As stated before, Bye-Bye BoxBoy! is supposedly going to be released on March 23rd, just under three weeks from today, though we can’t know for sure without an official announcement from Nintendo. If it is coming, though we’ll likely here about it very soon.
