After announcing the revival of its 1990 Nintendo World Championships, Nintendo has been pretty tight-lipped about this year’s event – until now. In a video posted on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel, a number of details were revealed to the public, including what sort of games will be played at the tournament.

Eight different games will be available at the competition, including a mix of old school and current titles. Among these titles will be the recently-released Splatoon, making its tournament debut. Additionally, it was announced that Kevin Pereira, previously the host of pseudo-gaming network G4’s Attack of the Show!, will be hosting the event. Pereira, who also hosted G4’s gaming tournament series Arena, can currently be seen on truTV’s Hack My Life.

Nintendo also revealed its list of invited players, including speedrunners Sinister1, Cosmo, Bananas, Essentia and Trihex, TheMexicanRunner, an NES completionist, Jovenshire of Smosh Games and Arin of Game Grumps. These eight players will be joined by the eight winners of the Nintendo World Championships qualifiers held at Best Buys across the United States. Commentary for the competition will be delivered by djWHEAT, Andre of Black Nerd Comedy and Justin Flynn.

The 2015 Nintendo World Championships will be held Sunday, June 14 at 3:00 p.m. PST at the Microsoft Theater (formerly known as the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE) in Los Angeles, with a live stream provided on Nintendo’s website.
