UPDATE: The Humble Nindie Bundle has been expanded to include three additional indie hits. Sportsball, Gunman Clive, and BIT.TRIP Presents…Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien have been added  for those who opt to pay $9.19 or more.

Nintendo and the eShop for both the Wii U and the 3DS are teaming with Humble Bundle to bring gamers the most recent package of games for a fraction of the price. The Humble Nindie Bundle is the first-ever bundle for home consoles and handheld systems. It features several recognizable third-party titles in the package of games.

Humble Bundles operate on a “pay what you want” system, but it rewards those who throw down some extra cash beyond the bare minimum. While a dollar will you snag you the first tier of games, $10 will unlock two additional titles. If you pay at least the average (which at the time of writing is below the $10 mark), you’ll receive at least three more titles, with the promise of more unannounced games to come to the bundle. You’ll receive those if you meet the average, even if they aren’t announced when you pay.

When selecting the payment option, there’s a system in place to allow the buyer the opportunity to allocate the funds how they see fit. You can choose between a charitable donation, a payment to the developers of the games, and even the Humble Bundle organization itself. You can split between all three, give all to charity, share between the developers and Humble tip jar, or choose however else you would like to do it. Who gets your hard-earned money is completely up to you.

The first tier of games are Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition for the Wii U, Whoa Dave! for the 3DS, and Mighty Switch Force! for the 3DS. That’s a lot of exclamation marks for just a buck! For the $10 bracket, there is also Stealth Inc. 2 for the Wii U and Steamworld Dig for the Wii U and 3DS. For those that meet the average donation, there are currently The Fall on the Wii U, OlliOlli for the Wii U and 3DS, and Moon Chronicles: Episode 1 for the 3DS. Again, just like with all Humble Bundles, more games will be added to sweeten the pot for reaching the average.

Hurry! There are less than two weeks to jump on this amazing deal of Nintendo eShop games. Grab some indie titles and feel good about where the money is going to at the same time. It’s a win for everyone involved.
