Late last month in Japan Square Enix celebrated the 30th anniverary of Final Fantasy with a massive celebration. Of the many announcements, a cross-platform sale was the most immediate, with Steam, PSN and the Japanese Nintendo eShop being on board. Now the sale has headed westward, with a much smaller selection.

Nintendo 3DS owners can pick up Final Fantasy Explorers and Theatrhythm: Curtain Call for $19.99 each, while Wii U players can dive into Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for $5.59.

In Japan the selection included a much wider array of classic Virtual Console games, which Square Enix sadly didn’t bring to either system in the west. Here’s hoping the Nintendo Switch has much more solid support from the Japanese giant!
