With March drawing ever closer, every small indication of NX news and rumors is becoming all that more plausible. This latest one comes from U.K. seller Tesco, who recently opened a pre-order page for the “Nintendo NX Wii U.” This isn’t too surprising an occurrence as a reveal seems highly likely within the next month, based on proximity, shopping seasons, and the lack of Wii U releases on the horizon. Once it happens pre-order pages are only natural.

The biggest takeaway is (since removed) the listed price: £349.99. That comes out to a little over $450 USD. It must be noted that everything else is a placeholder on the page, meaning it’s highly likely the price is, too. The date given is the classic “12/31,” though listed for 2016 rather than 2017, for the record.

All of this could be a mistake or independent prep work on the part of Tesco, but more solid than any of the details from the page is the simple fact stores are getting ready. Reveals and pre-orders are bound to kick off soon, and you can count on Nintendo Wire to let you know the whens and wheres.

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
