A new screenshot from the upcoming Mario Sports Superstars has confirmed the presence of amiibo support in the game. The screenshot shows a main menu listing the five sports available in the game: Soccer, Baseball, Tennis, Golf and Horse Racing. Under the five sports is a tab labeled “amiibo Card.”

It is unknown at this time if this means that we will be receiving a Mario line of amiibo cards or if the amiibo functionality in this game will be tied to in-game cards in some way.
